The Thunder traveled to Southern California on Saturday, October 14th to participate in the 36th annual Bell Gardens Cross Country Invitational. In the series of Class-based races held on the 3-mile course, the DVCC Seniors placed 5th and were led by team captain Braden Lolli in 23rd place (16:21), the Juniors placed 4th and were led by Mason Klann in 9th (16:17), the Sophomores grabbed 3rd place, led by Alex Hammond in 3rd place (17:21), and the DVCC freshman squad raced to a 1st-place finish, led by Owen Phelps in 8th place (16:49).
