The DVCC Girls traveled to Southern California on Saturday, October 14th to participate in the 36th annual Bell Gardens Cross Country Invitational. In the series of Class-based races held on the 3-mile course, the DVCC Seniors were led by team co-captain Brooklyn Hanania who captured 1st-place with a time of 17:28, the Junior squad was led by Dana Pivin who also won her race with a time of 18:28, the Sophomores grabbed 3rd place, led by Lydia Leeman in 11th place (20:48), and the DVCC Freshmen took 2nd-place finish, led by Emerson Rhodes in 5th (21:12).
