On Thursday, October 30th, the Thunder Boys paid a visit to Cottonwood, AZ to compete in the Verde Valley Invitational, held at Riverfront Park. In the Junior Varsity Race, the Thunder grabbed the top three places and took 1st-place overall, led by senior Cameron Track, who won the race with a time of 18:34. Desert Vista completed the sweep by winning the Varsity Race, with junior Santiago Araiza winning the race with a time of 16:16 and fellow-junior Luke Littlefield in second (16:20).
