The DVCC Boys travelled to Gilbert, AZ on Saturday, September 23rd to compete in the Western Equinox Cross Country Festival, held at Freestone Park. The Thunder JV squad grabbed second place in the Open Race, led by sophomore Alex Braaten, who finished in 7th place (18:14). The DVCC Varsity runners also brought home a 2nd-place finish, led by sophomore Alex Hammond, who finished in 11th place with a time of 17:23.
