The DVCC Boys kicked of the 2023 season on Saturday, September 2nd at the 29th Chandler Invitational at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler. In the series of class-based races, DVCC was led to a third-place finish in the Seniors race by Team Captain Braden Lolli, who placed 7th overall with a time of 16:25. The Thunder took fifth place in the Juniors race, led by Maxton Klein in 15th (17:06). In the Sophomore Race, Alex Hammond finished in 8th (17:22) to lead DVCC to an fourth-place finish. The Thunder won the Freshmen race, led by Owen Phelps in 3rd (17:22).
