The DVCC Girls made the trip to Freestone Park in Gilbert, AZ on Saturday morning September 23rd to compete in the Western Equinox Cross Country Festival. In the Varsity race, the Thunder were led by freshman Teegan Kelly, whose time of 20:49 was good for 6th place overall. In the Open Race, DVCC grabbed a 3rd-place finish, led by sophomore Bethany Yaso in 13th place (23:58).
