The DVCC Girls made a trip to San Tan Foothills in Chandler, AZ on Saturday morning September 16th to compete in the Sabercat Invitational. The Thunder took 1st place the JV/Open Race, led by sophomore Lydia Leeman, who won the race with a time of 23:00. In the Varsity race, Senior Co-Captain Brooklyn Hanania crossed the line in 1st place with a time of 18:41 to lead the Varsity squad to a 1st-place finish.
