The Desert Vista Girls made a quick trip to Fountain Hills Park on Saturday morning, September 10th for the Fountain Hills Invitational. The Thunder placed 11th in the Varsity Race, led by sophomore Dana Pivin in 18th place (20:42). In the 3200 meter Junior Varsity Race, sophomore Brooklyn Renda placed fourth overall with a time of 13:50 and led the DVCC JV squad to a 6th-place finish.
