DVCC made a short trip to San Tan Foothills in Chandler, AZ on Saturday morning September 16th to compete in the Sabercat Invitational. The Thunder took first place in the JV/Open Race, led by freshman Owen Phelps, who took medalist honors 17:59. Senior Captain Braedon Lolli placed 2nd overall in 17:13 to lead the Varsity squad to a 1st-place finish in the Varsity Race.
